Spearheaded by the students from Diploma in Tourism Management and under the supervision of Mr Devyn Daleowen bin Dusi, Kolej MDIS Malaysia Got Talent 2022 Competition was successfully wrapped up last month. Open to all Kolej MDIS Malaysia’s students, the contest allowed the students to showcase their astounding talents on and off the stage.
The multi-talented students brought the house down with their singing, dancing, musical and beatboxing talent performances. It was indeed an artistic showcase of sight, sound and movement! Meanwhile off stage, students were able to take away insightful event management experiences through hands-on processes of planning, managing, logistics, sponsorship, public relations, as well as marketing & promotions.
Present to witness and grace the event was the CEO of Kolej MDIS Malaysia, Professor Hassan Ali and accompanied by the COO, Dr Eric Loh. Among all the participants, Darren Devaraj and Dino Pong Kei Yuen beatboxed their way to the champion title with a prize money of RM300 and a certificate, while Tan Gynn and Hemalaa danced their way to 2nd and 3rd placement with prize money of RM200 and RM100, respectively. It was indeed a spectacular show by the students.
