PT Cakra Bramastra International and ASPABRI (Asosiasi Pariwisata Bahari Indonesia) organised an education expo in Batam recently, coinciding with the high school final year examination in Indonesia.
Governor Kepri Ansar Ahmad, the governor of Riau Islands, officiated at the Campus Expo 2023 on Friday, 3 March 2023, at the Atrium One Mall, Batam. The Campus Expo 2023 served as a platform for those wanting to continue their studies after high school or those interested in pursuing lifelong learning.
Supported by the Education Authority of Riau Islands, the Education Expo was a great success as many local and international higher learning institutions were present to showcase their educational opportunities. It was a treasure trove of valuable information on education for all those who walked through the doors as early as 10am. This was an ideal education exhibition for students and parents to meet educational institutions and discover optimal educational pathways.
Kolej MDIS Malaysia representatives were also present to share and guide students and parents seeking educational information and advice on the available academic pathways. Many were impressed with the campus facilities and the programmes offered, which were industry-focused and providing a lifelong learning pathway for career advancement.
Parents and students were equally overwhelmed as MDIS catered to a truly global student community as students of the various MDIS campuses from Singapore, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan and Malaysia had the opportunity to participate in transnational cross-border education in a culturally diverse environment. It was indeed a fruitful weekend as enquiries ranged from home-grown certificate, and foundation to diploma programmes as well as our 3+0 UK Honours Degree with the well-known Bangor University and the University of Sunderland from the UK
