Kolej MDIS Malaysia hosted Ms Karen Wharton, Senior Lecturer, Marketing Strategy & Innovation, University of Sunderland (UOS), UK, on a courtesy visit. Led by the Chief Operating Officer, Dr Eric Loh, and the Head of the Property Management Building, Mr Sathiaseelan, Ms Wharton was given a comprehensive campus tour, including the facilities at the Main Building, Admin Building and the full-fledged MDIS Residences at EduCity.

Founded in 2014, Kolej MDIS Malaysia is the second overseas campus of the Management Development Institute of Singapore (MDIS) located in the fully integrated EduCity at Iskandar Puteri, Johor.
The University of Sunderland’s Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Media, Culture, and Communication programme aims to provide students with theoretical understanding and practical abilities in communication, the arts and culture, language and literature, media and information technology. This course examines and explains various media patterns and provides students with a thorough understanding of media’s influence, importance and use in contemporary culture and society.
On the other hand, the University of Sunderland’s Bachelor of Science (Honours) in International Tourism and Hospitality Management provides students with the opportunity to discover the tourism and hospitality industry through this management-focused degree, transporting them into a fast-paced, exciting industry. This course prepares students for an exciting and successful career in a global industry with numerous job opportunities.
Kolej MDIS Malaysia offers progression pathways to globally recognised UK degrees from Bangor University and the University of Sunderland for students interested in pursuing quality education locally. Kolej MDIS Malaysia’s home-grown programmes, such as Certificates, Foundations, and Diplomas, have been accredited by the Malaysian Qualifications Agency (MQA). Our three-year degree programmes from Bangor University and the University of Sunderland are also accredited by the both MQA and UK’s Quality Assurance Agency (QAA).
